The birth place of country music artist Alan Jackson and NFL superstar Calvin Johnson, among others, Newnan is the county seat of Coweta County and is located about 40 miles southwest of metro Atlanta. With roughly 41,000 people, this community has become a large shopping hub for the area.

This is a very beautiful place. There are many shops for you to enjoy. Many of these buildings have been here since as early as 1868. However, most were built between 1895 and 1900.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Planned for Newnan Mountain Biking Trails
The City of Newnan had a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the Roller Coaster Trail at LINC Greenway.
Back in July 2019, the City Council approved funding for the construction of the trails, and it was constructed by MTB Atlanta. They actually received support from several volunteers. They donated over 700 hours completing the work on the trails. they even worked to complete two bridges. The goal of this project is to create a place for all skill level mountain bikers.
